we were lucky enough to visit a masque in london on a friday. friday is their holy day, when everyone is supposed to come to the masque for noon prayer. we had a great little guide named omar. he was very informative and friendly. one thing i thought was cool was that they read their book of scripture, the koran, from the right to the left so the words are going in toward your heart.... neat huh? i am glad i get to experience things like this and get to learn about other religions.
